When I found out that LEGO was releasing a set based on the Batman Forever Batmobile, I thought they were pulling my leg! Hi Im Matt and here is my review!

The Build

This particular version of the Batmobile holds a special place in my heart as this same model was the first I played with as a kid alongside my numerous other Batman action figures! Now, in 2026, I have to admit I may have dragged this brick-built version along my office desk reliving those childhood memories.

It brilliantly recreates the iconic look of the vehicle with the smallest of details. My favorite elements being the giant middle wing, so many intricate pieces are combined to create the most striking element of this Batmobile in my own opinion.

Unique LEGO pieces

This set comes with several printed pieces and molds for the windshield, front grill and wheels. The set wouldn’t be a replica without these parts!

It is also interesting to see a Batmobile in this size. Usually, we have the minifigure scale models or upscaled versions like the ’89 or ’66 Batmobiles.

For anyone struggling with space, this set can easily fit on display shelves.

The Batman Minifigure

If I have any issues with this set, it would be the minifigures, or lack thereof. While the exclusive sonar suit Batman is a great addition to the set, it doesn’t share the same level of detail as the Batmobile. Some printing on the legs or arms would’ve made this a more desirable minifigure. Another thing I would loved to see included in this set are the other characters in the movie. Riddler, Two-Face or Robin would have made this set stand out more on the display shelves with the addition of other colors from the minifigures.

As a photographer..

It is ideal to snap a picture indoors. I took these photos in my office! It’s also great to take photos outdoors on a busy city street ( a city that is hopefully not filled with colorfully costumed criminals!)

Summary

This is for ages 12+ and has 909 pieces. It costs $99.99/£89.99/99,99€. This is a LEGO set that brings me nostalgia and I love it!
