As a Potterhead, I’m always excited about HP sets. This little one was really fun to take picture of.
I love the fact that the building can be opened up. I always struggle with the background in my photo. This set, once open, provides a nice background for photos, both inside and out.
INTERIOR
I really like all the plants and details.
I was curious to use my probe lens with the closed building! It was easy to pass through the arch. I thought it would be easy to get through the window from the roof, but not at all! I’ll probably try to remove some pieces next time!
WORKSTATION
Both workstations are mobile, which makes taking photos easier! Of course, it’s impossible to talk about herbology class without mentioning the mandrakes! I was delighted to see that they had reproduced it in full size!
BEHIND THE SCENE
The windows of the building help with the lighting. You can use it to create shadows in your picture. I used a LED cone and moved it to create shadows in mine! I used my 100mm macro for this one.

CONCLUSION
I really love this set! For $49.99/€49.99/£44.99, this is a steal! There is a lot of possibility with photography! It’s 9/10 for me!
