What BrickCentral is
BrickCentral is a photography community built around a shared love of LEGO. We celebrate creativity, share inspiration, and help each other grow as photographers. We’ve been around since 2013 and we’re run by volunteers, photographers, just like you.
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone who interacts with BrickCentral: on Instagram, on our website, on Discord, and anywhere else we show up as a community.
The short version
Be kind. Share your own work. Credit others. Keep it fun.
What we’re about
BrickCentral is a place for LEGO photography: minifigures, sets, MOCs, details, landscapes, stories. If it involves LEGO bricks and a camera (or a phone), it belongs here.
We welcome photographers of all levels. Beginners, hobbyists, and seasoned pros are equally at home. What matters is the passion, not the gear.
Content standards
We ask that all content shared in or with BrickCentral spaces:
- Is your own work. Don’t submit or repost someone else’s photo as your own. LEGO must be the subject — not just an accessory in the frame.
- Gives credit where it’s due. If you’re inspired by, or building on, someone else’s idea, say so.
- Is appropriate for all ages. BrickCentral is a family-friendly community. No sexual content, graphic violence, or imagery that would be unsuitable for children.
- Respects LEGO’s IP guidelines. We are a Recognized LEGO Online Community (RLOC) under the LEGO Ambassador Network. We follow LEGO’s Fan Content Policy and IP guidelines. LEGO® is a trademark of The LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse BrickCentral.
- Isn’t used to sell. Don’t use BrickCentral tags or community spaces to promote unrelated commercial products or services without prior agreement with the mod team.
How we treat each other
We don’t expect everyone to have the same taste in photography, the same editing style, or the same opinions. Healthy discussion is welcome.
What isn’t welcome:
- Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks in comments, DMs, or anywhere else
- Hate speech or discrimination of any kind (race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, disability, age)
- Spamming, excessive tagging, repetitive self-promotion, or flooding comment sections
- Impersonating another photographer or the BrickCentral mod team
If someone is making others feel unwelcome, we’ll act on it. We’d also encourage you to flag it to us.
Generative AI images
BrickCentral is a photography community. We celebrate photos taken by people of real LEGO builds. Fully generative AI images are not eligible for features. If your work uses AI tools in post-processing (background cleanup, lighting adjustment, etc.), that’s your call as an artist, but the photo itself should be a real shot of real bricks.
Contests
Individual contest pages may have additional rules (eligibility, submission format, deadlines). Those rules take precedence for that specific contest. When in doubt, ask us before submitting.
Enforcement
Our mod team handles the community on a volunteer basis. We’ll do our best to apply these guidelines fairly and consistently. We may:
- Remove content that violates these guidelines
- Ask someone to stop a specific behavior
- Temporarily or permanently remove someone from community spaces in serious or repeated cases
We’re not looking to police anyone. We’re looking to keep BrickCentral a place people actually want to be in.
