BrickCentral and Four Bricks Tall are teaming up to bring LEGO fans a brand-new photography contest! At stake is the Medieval Horse Knight Castle 31168 set, Horse Knight Nook MOC instructions, and Minifig Realms minifig accessories!
The theme is “Within the Castle Walls” and your task is to capture a scene that feels like it could happen in a medieval castle town. From bustling marketplaces and tavern brawls to tense negotiations or a blacksmith at work, the story is up to you.
Theme requirements
You don’t necessarily need to have castle walls in your photo, but the environment should include some medieval scenery built with LEGO bricks. The environment doesn’t need to be all brick-built, but a significant portion of it should be.
To meet the theme requirements, your submission must:
- Have a LEGO medieval scene inside a castle town as the context
- Include at least two minifigs interacting
- Be taken with a phone camera
- Be a sequence of at least two photos
This contest isn’t about who has the most professional photography skills. Instead, we want to see immersive LEGO storytelling. The judges will be looking at how well your scene draws viewers in and how alive your minifigs feel.
Judging the contest are Four Bricks Tall, thebrickdwarf, and Edgy_Mando.
How to submit
Share your photos as a post on Instagram or Threads with the caption “My entry to the Within the Castle Walls LEGO phone photography contest hosted by @brickcentral and @fourbrickstall.”
Your account must be public, and you must be following both @brickcentral and @fourbrickstall on Instagram at the time of submission of your entry until the time of the winners’ announcement.
We’ll acknowledge eligible entries with a comment and save your entry into a collaborative folder for the judges to review.

Submit your entry by September 28 at 10pm Central European Time.
Winners will be contacted by September 29 and will have 48 hours to respond with their shipping details. We’ll choose another winner in case of no response.

– Shipping from LEGO is available to your country
– Prizes are subject to availability and can be changed
– Customs are the winner’s responsibility
For US winners, new tariff laws may affect the delivery of some prizes. In this case, that prize will be held and sent when it’s possible to send packages to the US.
