LEGO Friends Friendship Camper Van Adventure 42663 Review

LEGO Friends Friendship Camper Van Adventure 42663 Review

Yes! It’s another LEGO Friends set and I just gotta say that the Friends sets are getting really interesting! I love the vintage feel of the van and the details are amazing! I also would like to thank Brickcentral for sending me this LEGO set for reviews not just for the build but on how versatile this is for photography!

The Van

This van is super cute ofcourse but also it is quite easy to photograph. You just place it on your preferred background and boom it’s all set, you can use this as an extra item on your story too. I love how they used the concave pieces for the front engine area.

It opens!

Yes it opens for easy access and playability! The fact that the ceiling turns into a loft and has 3 beds makes this van easy to have a lot of play time with. I used a Macro lens to get this close for the details. I really wanted to show the plants under the stairs cuz it’s genius!

Kitchen and toilet

There’s not a lot of LEGO sets that have a functioning toilet! This one really impressed me LOL. You push that button and it flushes! I must admit, I had to play for a while before I took the photos! The kitchen is quite nice with stickers that made it look more cozy. Unfortunately, the entire space is too tiny but it won’t stop me from taking fun photos of this set!

Three Minidolls and a ferret

This set comes with Liann, Olly and Autumn! Here they are bringing down their stuff to prepare the campsite. Look at that cute little ferret just hanging out in it’s natural habitat! I really love the fern type leaves cuz I know I can use these for different trees and shrubs for other photos!

Van Rear end

The rear part of the van is where you can hang the bike. It doesn’t click but sort of just hangs so be careful cuz I definitely lost the bike, and found it, multiple times! The right side of this van have a shower too and adds more in depth play and story for your photos!

Summary

This is a vehicle build with tons of playability for the retail cost of $59.99/£54.99/59,99€ and comes with 778 pieces. That is right within my budget. Perfect gift for ages 7 and up! Beautiful and easy to photograph. I had fun building this set because of the functional toilet and stairs! This set is a 10/10 and totally worth it just because of the cute ferret alone LOL. I hope you have fun with this set and can’t wait to see your very own photos! Thanks again LEGO and BRICKCENTRAL for sending me this set!

Behind the scene

Yes that’s a bag of rice! I didn’t feel the need to upgrade it to a bean bag cuz it works just fine. I have my camera, led lights and a fog machine just to add some effects and I love playing around with it!
